Lead Astray By Your Eyes

I have been reminded about how tricky our eyes can be. When our eyes are open, our mind is quick at interpreting what we see. If we do not have a connection with our feelings we can be lead astray. It becomes extremely clear when you teach someone how to follow or are learning how to follow. When there is a disconnect between the eyes and the actual feeling the follow is getting, somehow the mind overrides the feelings and the follow goes the wrong way. That is why I sometimes close my eyes when I am following. It takes out the access noise and allows me to tap into the pushes, pulls, and nudges I am receiving. It also helps me to be an honest follow. If the lead does not give me the energy to go, I simply don’t go. When we are so honest, we may think we are making the lead look bad but the truth of the matter is we are actually making them a better lead. It teaches them how to give better signals and shows them what their signals are actually telling us. So how do we keep our eyes open but stay deeply connected to the feelings and allow ourselves to be lead by life?

Second answer, we learn techniques to bring us back to our feelings and then practice them every day. So that we can stay present, centered and honest. Thus allowing life to flow through our feelings and guide us. When past challenges come up, we sort them out so that we can return to our present feelings and stay true to our feelings. That way we may be lead through the magic of life. Trust your feelings.
